Ray Owen – Grammy nominated Singer/Songwriter
Ray whips up a veritable feast of American songs and stirs in a healthy helping of humor for family audiences of all ages to enjoy. When he serves it up, he pulls you into a world of fun. Ray, the Comedy Carpenter, will be presenting his “All Thumbs Home Improvement Show, a musical comedy celebrating repairs, remodeling and renovations. On Saturday, “Kids’ Day,” Ray will tailor his entertainment for kids and families.

    • $500 Prize
      • Purchase an exhibitor product or service with a minimum value of $1000,
      • When the contract is signed and received by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, the HBA, in turn, will forward a check for $500 to the exhibitor that you made the purchase from.

The winners will be drawn randomly from all surveys submitted within two weeks after the show. Names, phone numbers and email addresses will be used solely for identifying prize winters.

Outdoor Living Experience
Strathmeyer Landscape
has created an “Outdoor Living Experience,” demonstrating how homeowners can enhance their everyday activities. Some of the landscape components on display include:

      • A wooden Pavilion measuring 12’ x 16’ is  one of the focal point of this outdoor exhibit.  The structure is constructed of rough sawn Hemlock pinned together with wooden dowels.  A magnificent structure designed for any weather event.
      • An outdoor fire pit perfect for those nights entertaining your friends.
      • A paver patio with seating walls and ambient LED lighting effects
      • You can experience all of the outdoor sights and sounds with water features and a surround sound system playing your favorite tunes.
      • Your backyard experience is  surrounded by landscape shrubs, trees and more unusual and hardy perennials.

Design It-Build It Challenge
The Design It-Build It Challenge will be set up by opening day, Thursday through the duration of the show Building projects will be judged on certain specific and you will be given an opportunity to bid on each one. Participating Schools:

      • Cumberland/Perry
      • Dauphin County VoTech: Backyard shed with a porch, metal roofing, two door openings and a cupola with brick pathway, fire pit and benches.
      • Carlisle
      • Fulton County VoTech: Outdoor play equipment.
